Not as good as Little Women, but still a great book! I'm impressed how Alcott was so ahead of her time!
I used to think I couldn't let you go, but I'm learning to feel that I don't lose you, that you'll be more to me than ever, and death can't part us, though it seems to.
Really seeing this Alcott mood through. #currentlyreading
Just realised this one counts for public domain yay! #booked2019 @Cinfhen @BarbaraTheBibliophage @4thhouseontheleft
I meant to post this days ago but things have been kinda crazy. Over the weekend my parents took a trip to Boston and the stopped to tour Orchard House, the place where Louisa May Alcott lived and wrote. Knowing what a fan I am, they brought me home these two beautiful books. ❤️
I jump around in my reading a lot. Today, even though I‘ve finished nothing else I‘ve started, I‘m reading this. I had no idea it even existed until someone mentioned in a Litsy post — and I‘d read Little Men and Jo‘s Boys and all the others.
I'm so disappointed with how thing go between Jo and Laurie, I'm not sure I can keep on reading 😭
Rummaging through my teenage bookcase at my mum's. #titlewithgood #aprilbookshowers @RealLifeReading
