To be honest, I didn‘t enjoy this book nearly as much as I expected. I‘m not really one for dark humour and the whole pandemic theme, as ridiculous as it is in this book, was just a bit too plausible given the current situation. I did laugh at times when reading, but not a ton. I probably would have liked it more had I read it six months ago. 4/10

I lingered between pick and so so for this. It did make me laugh at points, but other parts were kind of...I don‘t even quite know what to say. It is definitely not something that everyone would enjoy, that said I find that I did.

I enjoyed this book. It was fairly humorous and had some memorable one liners. The story revolves around a government manufactured bio-weapon which happens to turn animals into raging zombie killers. It starts first with cows, hence the title to the book. The characters are likable and the author, Michael Logan, knows how to tell a good story. If you like a humorous tinge to your apocalyptic stories, then this book is right up your alley.
