This may not have been the most recent book that made me cry (I think it may have been Feed or a Cassandra Clare one), but it is one that never fails to make me sob.

This is a story told in post it notes between a mother and daughter, who don‘t have as much time for each other as they once did, during which time the mother is diagnosed with cancer.

A different neighbour brought me this stack for my classroom. I've read I Am Malala, it was okay, but the tagged was amazing. I haven't read the other but I'm sure my students will love them! #teachersoflitsy

A #QuickRead told entirely in notes left by mother and daughter to each other since their schedules are complete opposites. So highly recommended (as is a box of tissue by your side😢)

This is a moving and portrait of the relationship between a daughter and mother. It is about how we live our lives constantly rushing, and never making time for those we love. It is also about how much can be said in so few words, if only we made the time to say them.

Read this short and sweet book this afternoon. Light but dealt with some heavy themes. The story of a mother and daughter told in notes left on the red refrigerator door. I love me a good epistolary novel!

Short but poignant #epistolary book. Told entirely through short notes on their refrigerator door, a mother and daughter go through a gut wrenching crisis. I was impressed by how much was conveyed with so few words. Brilliant!

These are my favorite #Epistolary books! This style is just so immediate and engrossing!

I have used this book for another challenge previously, but this prompt is a good reason to bring it back out!

Life on the Refrigerator Door is a quick read told entirely by post it notes (left on the fridge door) between a mother and daughter. Although ultimately a sad read, it is one that has stayed with me.

It only takes around 45 mins to read, depending on the amount of tears! I would recommend tissues 😭 💕

This amazing book absolutely wrecked me! It's a super quick read. I read it in a couple of hours. It starts out light and entertaining, quickly gets you invested in the mother/daughter relationship and then it just wrecks you! But it's one of the most beautiful stories I've ever read - totally worth the #PoolOfTears😭

Life on the Refrigerator Door is a powerful story about the relationship between a mother and daughter over the course of a year, during which the mother is diagnosed with breast cancer. It is told exclusively through post it notes between the two!

It is a hard read, one of the first books to make me bawl like a baby. But it is also very sweet and a must read 🙂
