Longish run this morning so now i'm just enjoying my book (and some tea)
1. All of the above but I‘ll take any. Usually I don‘t get books but I‘ll get chocolate and flowers.
2. I‘m just recommending my tagged book Traitor‘s Blade it‘s a bromance that will make you laugh and anyone can enjoy it.

Thanks @Pageturner1 for the tag! @TheSpineView

This one was recommanded by a friend when I said I like swords stories (in French the genre is de cape et d épée à la 3 musketeers) and it is perfect for that, and a nice end of the year book
🎧 Grim dark meets the 3 Musketeers!
Great audiobook! The Taylor reminds me of Isern from A Little Hatred. 🖤
I loved the flashbacks & through them the king!
Monster! The 3 friends! Justice compared to honor.
I didn‘t even mind the improbable plot conveniences. I won‘t say more as I don‘t want to ruin the book for you, I recommend this audiobook if you like Joe Abercrombie & the 3 Musketeers.
I look forward to the next 3 books. 🖤
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hanging around in an airport for 7 hours is not my idea of fun 😒 It‘s a good job I had this to read! A swashbuckling fantasy full of sword fights, complicated characters, and tantalising hints of political intrigue to come. I really liked his Spellslinger series, and I‘m glad that his adult fantasy has just as much heart and wry humour.
Happy Canada day to all my Canadian Littens!

I know our Country has a pretty terrible past...today would be a great day to reflect and learn on how we can amplify the Indigenous peoples voice that have been, for so long now, silenced and ignored.
Books pictured are from Canadian author, Sebastian De Castell, and are starting points to both of his series! Can't go wrong with either one - although I prefer his Greatcoats books. 😊
I wasted no time at all spending the Christmas Barnes & Noble gift cards I got! 😁🙊 Look at this fantasy haul! 😍 Oh how I love big fantasy books! 💕📚💕 #bookhaul #littenchristmasbooks

This was a different read for me and I enjoyed it overall. This book gave me a Three Musketeers vibe and was full of witty banter, sword fights, and evil plots. I absolutely loved the humor in this book and was a nice contrast to the dark and serious plot of this novel. The ending felt a smidge rushed for me, but it tied some things up nicely and set up the next book of the series well.
Outdoor reading season has finally begun. ♥️
Started this the other day and it has completely sucked me in! 😍
Book #1 of @DeweysReadathon - and I've picked a winner. Totally getting Princess Bride + Three Musketeers vibes from this one.
I am such a sucker for a good swordfight. 🤺

I'm in love with this book! It made me laugh, smile, almost cry, it surprised me and kept me hooked up till the end! And the characters! They're fantastic!

Ugh fml! Another awesome series?!
I'm like SUPER obsessed with this. I absolutely love the writing and overall tone of Sebastien de Castell's work! The world is pretty interesting and I loved how slowly the mystery/answers of the King's questing began to unravel in the end. There's so many funny and likeable characters that make the rag tag group relateable even when set in a fantasy. Definitely picking up the second book in February or March.
Starting my buddy read!
Hoping to finish this one tonight; enjoying it so far! Super faced paced, interesting characters, and excellent 3 Musketeers vibes.
This book was a little different than I was expecting but I still really enjoyed it. The writing is very good and witty even though the story can be quite serious. 4/5
Possibly a new favorite series for me! I love this story and world and all the amazing characters. If you like high adventure with some fantasy elements you should try this series out!
My current read. Reminds me of Three Musketeers. Once this guy gets into trouble, trouble has a way of tracking him down. And trouble is relentless!
I am LOVING this book. It has totally revitalized my desire to read. It is fun and fast paced. I love the characters.
I was really enjoying this, til the slump monster came 🤔 so I've been ignoring it and now I see that someone has placed a reserve on it so I cannot renew 😡 eBay came to my rescue with a cheap copy tho - so hopefully that will arrive soon and I can get this party back on the road! (Note to self: I'm on page 116!)
This book is lost.
Hopefully in my apartment.
I'm failing at this reading business this month, combination of extreme tiredness and csi DVD marathons 🕵🏻♀️🕵🏻♀️🕵🏻♀️
When you can't sleep and decide to make a cup of tea and keep reading...
'Oh gods, you're serious, aren't you?' I said turning away. If Kest ever becomes a Saint, the transcendent expression of an ideal, he's going to be Saint Kest-who-never-fucking-learns. Unfortunately, my need to live up to his expectations of me has always been slightly stronger than my desire to punch him in the face.
That cape tho 😍
