Another great book in the series. Juliet and Warner discover what really happened during their childhood and the lengths the Reestablishment went to to make them their pawns for world domination. #SeriesLove2024 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

Juliette isn‘t who she thinks she is. Nothing in her world is what it seemed. She thought she‘d finally defeated the Reestablishment; thought she‘d finally taken control of her life, her power, and her pain. But she‘s only just begun to unravel a lifetime of lies. Now stronger, braver, and more resilient than ever, she will fight for life and love with her friends by her side—but first, she has to remember who she was.
This was the darkest book in the series. It left me shook at every chapter. While it was the worst book in the series, it was still phenomenal. It had me in tears, happy and sad ones. It also had one of the happiest and cutest endings of all time. I am IN LOVE with this series.
(30%) WHAT THE FUCK! HOW! WHAT'S HAPPENING!
Juliet & Warner are captured & forced in simulations from their past that were erased for a reason. So, Kenji, Nazeera, & the other Omega Point members all go to save them. Also, Juliet‘s family whereabouts are revealed.
This one had a lot of shocking turns. It was interesting learning more about Juliet‘s family. I also really enjoyed Kenji & Naz‘s moments together. It got a little confusing with the simulations, but the ending was bittersweet.
Shatter Me #5 and you‘d think I‘d be sick of the series by now. But I‘m still in love. Finally some truths are revealed and we get some answers to lots of questions. The truth is setting everyone free. The lies are done and the only question that remains is what will they do next? I‘m diving into book 6 to find out. #seriesread2022
I enjoy this series so much. It is written well, I love the characters, and the story just got more twisty. Grabbing the next one soon. 😍💛 This is also my #DoubleBookSpin for May.
This instalment in the shatter me series was a real eye opener, we learnt so much about the characters pasts
I found the others in the series a little confusing as it‘s a really intense and thorough web of storylines mixed together but this novel was able to give a bit more clarity to what exactly was going with the characters and their relationships to each other.
Ella and Aaron are super cute, can‘t believe there is only one more book to go!
I sort of wish I had gone back to read the earlier books in the series because I had a little trouble remembering some of the details of how these characters got to this point. The first half of this book was hard to read because there‘s just a lot of mean, torturous things happening to characters we‘ve grown to like. The second half helped and I‘m ready to see what the final installment has in store! This is my #BookSpin for August.
These are my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin books for August. I‘ve been meaning to get back to the Shatter Me series so this gives me a good reason, and I‘ve had the MacNeal on my shelf for far too long!
Woah. This book was a lot. I learned so much more about Ella‘s (Juliette‘s) life. This book had so much going on. I love Arron and Ella‘s relationship. They are so perfect together. I was so happy when Arrons proposed. We finally got Kenji‘s POV! Reading from Kenji‘s point of view was so interesting. I loved seeing how close him and Ella are. Over all this book was really good. 7/10
Not my favorite. I felt that the whole book was a summary or a light overview than a meaty entry. I didn‘t connect with this whole “they‘ve always known each other” backstory- maybe because Mafi just tells us that they‘ve always loved each other without giving the reader any of their actual backstory. I‘m not opposed to the idea- it was just poorly executed, and, frankly, just boring. I also really didn‘t like the contrived, nonsensical ending.
This book is a little better than Restore Me, but still not up to caliber of the original trilogy. And we‘ve added another POV.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Defy Me takes places seconds after Restore Me. It follows different memories and secrets that come out to play. It was great and I enjoyed all the secrets that came to light and seeing old memories. Plus, there were slow, sweet moments that were beautifully done.

So bummed that I have to wait until Tuesday for the last book in this series to come out! I loved how this book was told from 3 points of view. It had a great ending!
This was my 8th completed book in the #24b4monday readathon. I didn‘t post my 7th book which was a novella!
The 5th novel in the Shatter Me series has some high ratings on Goodreads. For me, it was . . . fine. I do enjoy the way Juliette and Warner's relationship has developed. Their discoveries about their shared history are interesting. I just feel as if the novel is a but static. Because it reflects its setting and circumstances, the book is quite interior. Solid novel, but one that's setting the stage for the culminating book in the series.
This one had such a satisfying ending, but now I have to wait until March 2020 for the final installment... gah, how will I survive!
I just got back from the dentist. I have a dry socket where they pulled my wisdom tooth. I‘m going to sit right here and finish this book until the pain meds knock me out.
This is a quick read. Third book in what I thought was a trilogy but I know there are no enough pages left to resolve anything. I wonder how long until the next one comes out.
This was the fifth book. Apparently I can‘t count. 🤣
1. I take whatever book I‘m reading with me. If I‘m close to finishing, I will bring another.
2. I do not take more than I can read. I don‘t usually take time to read on vacation. I stay busy or I‘m spending time with family and friends.

So this is just setting me up to be distraught for the final book huh??? I‘m worried about Warner and Kenji.
I loved it. I‘m not going to add more because it‘s would be a spoiler. Just know I love this series!!! 💜💜💜
Time to start this one. I‘ve been avoiding it lol. Sometimes I want my series to last.
It's quiet here this morning. Turkey is in the oven and some laundry has started so I'm going to enjoy the peace with a coffee and a bit of reading.
Happy Easter morning to those who celebrate 🐣
This series is starting to get a bit out there for me... I still like it but some of the twists and turns are just ... Idk... Really out there for me. I know this series has superpowers and a whole new world order but brainwashing and people coming back from the dead... 🤷 Just kinda.... Saddening me a bit. I loved it so much and now I feel like it's start to just be a money grab to keep the story going.
* 3.5 stars *
⠀Defy Me is probably my least favorite book in Shatter Me series. After reading this book I was a little disappointed because I had high hopes for this sequel. I felt like nothing happened that would be relevant to the plot. Plus the book was a little too short. I will still continue with this series because I still love the characters (let's not forget about Kenji 💜) and I enjoyed the book - just not as much as previous books.
Is there anything better than book mail?
Eeeeee!!!! My preorder showed up today and I can't wait to start it! This has quickly become one of my favorite series and the wait for this book has been KILLING me!

"Shatter Me" series is one of my all time favorites. I just love the writing and some kind of lyrical prose ?
I think it's time for re-read, so I can be prepared for "Defy Me" that will be out in april. Can't wait!
