I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join in if you want!

@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks The tagged book's cover is 😍😍😍, The Coffin Trail's is #meh
Emmy‘s tail photo bombed this picture. 😹
Gallows court is appropriately set amidst the dark,smokey,soot ridden fog of 1930s London. The novel is a dark, violent,& twisted tale of revenge & retribution for the victims of sexual deviance & corruption in high places. Although most of the characters are repulsive,it is a compulsive read. #marchmadness #readathon
Little did I know that I would be reading amidst London‘s fog approximately 65 years after A Rare Interest in Corpses, a previous read this month. #serieslove #1
This is not really my kind of book, but I read it because I have a galley of the 2nd book in the series.😬
A clever, well-written murder mystery/thriller with a lot going on plot wise and very few characters that are actually likable. It‘s got a few twists I will admit I didn‘t see coming. Definitely going to read the second book!

Oh no! What do I do #LMPBC ? Can I do anything? @suvata @Jadams1776 @Jerdencon @Kangaj1 This is that missing package. The book isn‘t here. I did get The Cater Street Hangman yesterday.
Picture as they called me up. Lol (I‘m really laughing too hard about this picture 🤣)This is on its way to you @Jerdencon for the #LMPBC #GroupM. Sorry it‘s running late. 😣
3.5 ✨I finished this before everyone woke up so I could actually finish with it. It is one of those books that you are confused until near the end. I didn‘t really get into it until the end. The writing was witty and very well done. I have trouble with those types of books personally because I have to look up so much. A really good darker mystery. Read for #Lmpbc #WinterGames2021 #TeamGameSleighers @StayCurious
Murder mystery set in 1930s London. I enjoyed it to a point but one of the main characters, Rachel Savernake, is difficult to like. I did guess the main twist but there were a couple of other reveals. 3⭐️
This is my November real-life book club choice, & though this one won the unanimous vote, I really wanted to bail on it! The characters are all unlikable; the plot holds only one surprise. The scenes skip around disjointedly which only makes it harder to connect with this book! I thought this sounded fun, but there‘s literally nothing fun at all here! I hate to write a bad review, but hopefully that it will lead to a lively book club discussion!
Clever, creepy, loads of nods to classic crime but more of a thriller/chiller. Not really my sort of book in the end, but I can see what it‘s trying to do and appreciate it even if it‘s not my thing.
