Now it its fourth edition, HUMAN DISEASES has been updated and expanded to include the cutting-edge topics and features you need for success in health care today! This best-selling pathophysiology book first delivers basic anatomy and physiology in a reader-friendly manner, then explores the diseases and disorders health care professionals see and treat most. Intuitively organized, chapters present each diseases description, etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Readings also incorporate contemporary issues in health care, including the impending ICD-10 switchover, pharmacology concerns, herbal and non-traditional remedies, new research findings, and current statistics. Designed to simplify pathology, HUMAN DISEASES, 4th Edition lightens heavy concepts with thought-provoking vignettes and cases, highlighted features, colorful photography and illustrations, and more. I‘ll be completely honest. Making my surroundings aesthetically pleasing is much more fun that trying to study. My brain is shot, and I feel like the emotions of the week are finally catching up to me. I‘m trying to be productive, and stay focused, but it‘s just not happening. I‘m going to shower, and listen to an audiobook and maybe that will reboot my brain. 🤞🏻

TheSpineView Sometimes you just need that reboot to help you focus. 6y
wanderinglynn Sometime you just need to do nothing & allow your brain to rest. 💚 6y
jb72 It‘s ok to take a break and reset the brain. 6y

Trashcanman Wish you the best 6y
Nute We definitely get to a point of over-saturation. There‘s no point in trying after reaching that threshold without first taking a break, a rest, a breath. Go for the reboot! Give yourself permission! Thinking of you!💕 6y
cherinium I must admit, during my college years (and several years after), I found no joy in reading. It was heartbreaking, as I loved reading pre college. I don't miss those days of mental exhaustion. Cleaning was my go to activity to give my brain a break. 6y
MartinaLove You can do this!!! 🙌🏻 6y
BBooks Breaks are good between studying... you got it!.📚💪🏼 6y
Lauram My house was cleanest when I was in grad school. Breaks are very important! 6y

Clwojick @TheSpineView @wanderinglynn @jb72 @Trashcanman @Nute @cherinium @MartinaLove @BBooks @Lauram @rohit-sawant Thanks guys ♥️ It‘s been a struggle to stay positive and focused while dealing with my mom‘s passing. We weren‘t close, but it‘s been harder than expected... Thanks for all your love and encouragement. Hopefully tomorrow will be a more productive day. ☀️ 6y

A quick heads up to my Litsy fam! I will probably be ghosting on Litsy for the next little while. I have an absolute ton going on with my schooling in the next week or so! I have to read and take notes on 12 chapters, take 19 non marked quizzes, memorize atleast 300 medical terminology words, and take a weighted test. 😅

I‘ll be checking in every now and again, but until I get a chunk of this list checked off, I am going offline. ♥️

Yay! Two of my textbooks came in the mail today. I can‘t wait until I start classes on May 14th. I‘m mostly excited to buy stationary. 📓 #educateyourself #onlineeducation #medicalschool #hospitalwardclerk #college
