I can do books with food on the cover for days! I narrowed it down once to fiction titles, then went down to the food being sweet, then narrowed them down again to some kind of baked goods & after that, finally, I thinned it down to a dozen titles to fit into the grid. Whew! Now I want to eat something sweet! 😋🎂🧁🍮🍰😆

pickLoved this one! It was a bittersweet read though because I hate to say goodbye to this series.
When newly widowed Lucy moves back to her hometown in Georgia she just wants to keep her head down and take care of her son. Small town life turns out to be more than she bargained for as she learns to renavigate being surrounded by former friends and current foes (also known as the in-laws).
pick5/5 stars. Not sure if this is my favorite, because i still have one more to read in this series, but damn this is a good one for sure!!
Still #audiosouping along to this one as I am trying to savor it. Enjoying Duffy & Lucy's story & all of the Lake Sackett & McCready family fun. Today's soup is Yotam Ottolenghi's Sweet Corn Chowder with Spiced Butter. Chowders always have a perfect summer vibe to me. Finished soup pic coming later. 🍲😋
pickAww my sweet Duffy. It's about time he gets his act together. I am enjoying spending time with these character almost as much as I enjoy spending time in Half Moon Hollow (which by the way I Iove Half Moon Hollow and all of the people there).
This author has yet to disappoint me. Once again I was given a humorous story full of heart that had me staying up WAY TOO LATE to finish it.
#Audiocooking & #audiosouping to this one (the newest in the Southern Eclectic series). I needed something light & funny as I do a bit of kitchen magic. I'm making a vegan version of Rick Bayless's Quick Pozole with jackfruit subbing in for the cooked shredded chicken. Drained, rinsed well, shredded, sautéed in taco seasoning & added to the soup pot with the hominy, broth & enchilada sauce. Finished soup picks coming later. ??
pickI cannot rave enough about Molly Harpers hooks. They‘re hilarious and fun with some sexy times thrown in.
