2.5 ⭐️ A pretty typical regency love story. The same thing kept happening over and over again. Yes you are my housekeeper. I will bring you pleasure but we don't have to have sex. But okay, let's have sex. Will you marry me. No, I have secrets. This is how the story happened and it repeated this about 5 times. It took me 4 weeks to listen to this book. I liked the story, but I am glad it‘s over.

I picked this up on @robinb recommendation and I‘m so glad I did. It was the perfect escapist #romantsy while I waited for test results for my dog, Pilot. I loved the dialogue, the characters, everything, and immediately started the second book in the series. There was humor and a sweet love story and I look forward to getting to know the secondary characters better. Even the baddies were fun to root against. Thanks, Robin!
I just wanted to say thanks to @robinb for recommending this book yesterday. I had to take Pilot to the ER vet yesterday because he lost use of his back legs. He‘s still there. The MRI showed nothing and we‘re now waiting for spinal tap results, but they are leaning towards “he had a stroke” as the diagnosis. This book has sucked me in and is helping me stay sane while I am separated from my boy.
