“He took a sip. The coffee wasn‘t tasty or choice. It tasted brown.”
This might be the most relatable thing I‘ve ever read.

I absolutely love this series, and the addition of Grace is awesome! We are huge Joe Ide fans at the bookstore, and I can't wait to read more books about IQ! #Recomendsday
I love this series, but I'm glad I waited to binge read a few of them in a row! Listening to book 3 right now, in anticipation of Joe's return to our bookstore!
I binged this entire series on audiobook and hate that the 4th book isn‘t available yet! 😩 #pocauthor #weneeddiversebooks #ownvoices
A great IQ novel from Joe Ide, highly recommended.
Isaiah and Dodson reunite with Deronda to help Grace, a new client, find her mother. Old and new enemies appear including a group of Blackhawk-like mercenaries with a sordid past in Abu Ghraib.
Imagine the Isaiah, the good guys, and the bad guys at Burning Man and you‘ll have a sense of why this is a must-read.
This is the third in the IQ series and I love them - full of people behaving badly, sometimes it‘s even the good guys (looking at you, Dodson) behaving badly. And now I‘m being a bad library citizen because this thing is overdue but I‘m almost done and didn‘t want to wait weeks to get it again.
The blur means it's working, right??
#audioworkout with this new read, the third in the IQ series. Love it so far.
Third book in the IQ series and sadly I like each one less, the first book was so good, not sure I'll be reading the next one. 😕
Reset my timer by accident but at about 10:30 for #24b4monday #readingchallenge @TheReadingMermaid

Trying to decide which title I'll be picking with my next #Audible credit later this month.... decisions decisions.
It's between French's latest 'The Witch Elm" or the newest IQ mystery, "Wrecked"(tagged).
Strongly leaning toward IQ, I just love that series & character AND it's gotten rave reviews- was just released today! ?
HOORAY, NEW BOOK DAY! Here are some of today‘s new books! There‘s also a new Murakami, a new Joe IDE, a new Hazel Gaynor, a new Nic Stone, and a zillion others. Which ones are you excited to read?
A thriller I know my husband will grab first & Brick a literary journal perfect for our weekend avoiding the heat reading.💕📚
