Book 8 in the Helen Grace series and it didn't disappoint 😊 An action packed story as always, I just love Helen. I'm still not sure if I trust Hudson 🤔 Up to date with the series and ready for All Fall Down in June.

Got a ton of books to get rid of. Available on eBay: https://ebay.com/usr/jemar-4663
Couple of new books I‘ve purchased and added on to my TBR 😀👍🏻 #bookhaul #tbr #books #booklover
My little love pug is super cuddly this afternoon. It‘s a good time to catch up with Helen Grace! 💕 #pugsoflitsy
So for the last 2 years - to the day - I‘ve been spending my morning time reading on the couch rather than turning on the news. It has done my sanity good. But I really need to do a better job picking those books because at a certain point I have to put it down and sign on to work. Helen Grace (Cate Blanchett) made that ENORMOUSLY difficult this morning.
In a little tiny reading slump. Hoping Helen Grace pulls me out of it. 😕Besides my History of the Hobbit, I‘ve struggled reading over the past several days. MJ Arlidge usually can help me out of a lull.
😱 #bookmail from Book Depository!!! It‘s here it‘s here! I love the Helen Grace series and of course you can‘t buy it here in the states (at least not the physical book). Thank God for Book Depository!!!
The story itself hops from graphic fear and murder mystery to police procedural with strong women characters effortlessly and is an easy, yet heart thumping read. I liked that the identity of the killer is kept unknown until near the end and it really does keep you guessing. I will now be reading more of the series.
thanks to the Author/the Publishers/NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for a fair and honest review
“Once more, Hudson felt the anger rising within him. And once more he tried to swallow it down. He had to get a grip on it. It was affecting his work, his judgement, and if he wasn‘t careful it would consume him. As it had done before.”........this is heating up now.....
“Peering into the void, Lauren gasped in confusion and horror. This hunter did not have a human face. She could make out no features at all, apart from two huge, lamp-like eyes. ‘Please, no . . .‘”.......so scary at times and a real intriguing whodunnit....loving it.
“He breathed the words, hoping they would soothe his pounding heart. But fear was assailing him, making his limbs shake and his brain ache. There had to be a way out of here. There had to be a way .”.......
I‘m hooked already...a good creepy read so far, plus a detective story too..
“Panicking, he flicked his gaze between the two paths. He was suddenly gripped by indecision, aware how costly the wrong choice would be. He didn‘t know why he was being hunted, which way he should go, nor what kind of agonies lay in store for him. All he did know was that death was stalking him tonight.”....so far so good and set in the UK

I may have squealed when the mailman handed this to me. I‘m coming for you, Cate! 😍
Another cracker in the series 👍🏻 great plot, red herrings running amok and more all action from Helen Grace, aka Cate Blanchett @MicheleinPhilly
Starting my scary/horror/gothic reads for October. Thought I'd start with more of a psychological thriller and work my way up to full out ghost stories toward the end of the month! Anyone read this?
☠️🕷️👀👻💀
81% into Down to the Woods. Loving reading on my Paperwhite instead of my older basic Kindle. 😊
Going to read Hangman next. 😊
Loving my Paperwhite! Love that it has a light. The screen resolution is so much better than both of my basic Kindles too 😂
Made it 21% into this over the weekend.
Got my Paperwhite! Excited to read on it without needing my lamp 😂 This is my first read.
Another brilliant offering by M J Arlidge following the exploits of Helen and her team as they search for a killer. These books get better and better as you get to know the team and you see their friendships and support for one another grow through the course of the books.
Bit late to this one but got there eventually 1. So far this year 40. 2. My target as always is 50 so I‘m on track. 3. Surprisingly enjoying the Twilight series. 4. Looking forward to the tagged book which is the latest in the Helen Grace series #2018checkin
