pickThis is a fine collection of about 40 short stories Fitzgerald wrote with a brief introduction when and where they were published and a few lines with fascinating facts about them. I loved Winter Dreams written while he was planning The Great Gatsby and The Swimmers which Fitzgerald described as “the hardest story I ever wrote.”
pickFavorites were Dalyrimple Goes Wrong and Bernice Bobs her Hair. I‘d like to finish all the FSF books that I haven‘t read yet, this year.

I think I need an intermission book. While I don‘t mind this I really am getting bored with it at the moment. I need a break to read something else.

I am struggling with this. I like F. Scott. I like his writing .... but ... I try to remind myself of the era in which these stories were written but one can only handle so much racist language when racism and race are not the issue at hand. (That amount being zero)

Finished ‘Big Little Lies‘ tonight. I‘ll try to get a review up by this weekend, I have to clean tomorrow so Man Cub‘s friend doesn‘t think we live in filth (it‘s not that bad I just need to sweep and vacuum).
Now it is back to F. Scott and his short stories. Tonight ‘Bernice Bobs Her Hair‘. I‘ve read this one before so I‘ll just read for the main bits.
