I‘ll be in the car for a couple of hours and don‘t know what audiobook to start… Bookspin is a paperback, doublespin was a bail, and a free space will get me a bingo! Any suggestions for light-ish/fun reads (listens) for what is probably the last really summery weekend here?

Question of the Day: How do you pick your next read? #QotD

I usually have a readathon or challenge that dictates a lot of my reading, and other than that I go on what I have access to and what I feel up to reading.⁣

#NextRead⁣ Don't forget to tag me if you make a response post.

JenaJenkins If I go to add something to my Goodreads TBR list and find that it‘s already on there - I usually try to make that one of my next books. I also try to stay on top of buzzy middle grade books and state award winners that I might want to feature in my school library. 3y
Gissy Mostly I‘m a season reader but I try to add in my tbr different genres, old books I owned, specially sequels and books received in swaps. I try to match a the book themes with different readathon prompts. All these elements are part of my 2021 goals. 3y
CindyMyLifeIsLit Sometimes my choice is made based on group reads I‘m participating in. I choose audiobooks based on books that sound engaging but not very complex, like horror and thrillers. I choose from my tbr based on how often I see the book mentioned. If a book has been on my tbr a long time and is frequently referenced by my friends, I know I need to get it read so I can participate in discussions. 3y
