Good beginning and end - the middle a bit repetitive. Overall a fine YA for Halloween.

Purely a nostalgic read. I used to love this series when I was younger & the release of the Netflix trailer made me think it might be fun to revisit Fear Street.
this is the first fear street book so i‘ll let it slide. rl stine is really good at coming up with twist endings, but this one was predictable and kinda boring. he gets his flow in other fear street books which i love but not a fan of this one
Oh my this amazing book.....
U guys should read this I really enjoyed 😄😄😄🤭
This is book 1 in the Fear Street series and a must read for anyone who enjoys this series. It‘s not my favorite but it‘s a solid creepy start to the series. I‘m so happy they have so many of these on my digital library! 3.5⭐️

I‘m letting my kid watch so much TV today 🤦🏻♀️. We were going to go to an indoor playground, but my kid managed to find his way to the cat poop to play with it, so I kind of lost my motivation. While cleaning up the library (where the cat‘s stuff is), I decided to pull out a fun read (even though I‘m already reading a billion books at once).
An old favorite of mine. Read this as a little girl who was just getting started in reading... Took me back
I never was allowed to read these as a kid. I‘m on the list at the library to borrow Paperback Crush, which is about all the YA serial books of the 80‘s and 90‘s. I‘m definitely familiar with Sweet Valley High/Twins and The Babysitters Club but thought it might help to have read at least one of the Fear Street novels.
Did you read these as a kid?? Or maybe not so much a kid? 😉
We finally got snow this winter. School was cancelled so I'm staying in and reading. Books 18, 19, 20 & 21 for 2019

So today we emptied and sorted the attic-that was a fresh new hell-I got no reading done. These are some of my fun finds.
This was so bad that it was good, even if it was just for nostalgia purposes. Also the updated version was poorly done, it was clearly still in the late 80/early 90‘s so the DVD and Missy Elliot references didn‘t fit.
I really loved Fear Street books growing up. Every time we visited a bookstore I picked one up. I‘m a little sad I gave them all away because I wish I could have reread those books. The one I finished late last night has been updated some. Originally published in 1989, this updated version refers to The Lord of the Rings movie, Missy Elliot and Kanye West. It makes me wonder what else was changed. It was still fun to revisit though. #24in48
I‘m not as far along as I would have liked, but I can‘t keep my eyes open anymore. Goodnight, Littens! #24in48
I have been distracted by a chatty husband (usually I‘m the chatty one) and catching up on Litsy this evening. I‘m settling in with this one until dinner is ready. #justwanttofinishabook #ThrowbackReadathon
Attention! My friend @meeshmom just joined us on Litsy! Let's show her some #LitsyLove! She loves Harry Potter and has a little Jedi in her life. Welcome Meesh! I'm glad you're here! You'll love Litsy!

#Day30 of the #SpookyOctober #HalloweenCountdown #FrightFest #BookPhotoChallenge! It's mischief night! Today's frightful pick is "The New Girl" by R.L. Stine—the very first book in the Fear Street series! Deliciously haunting and spooky, it got me hooked on the series and the horror/thriller genre. Rereading this tomorrow for Halloween! ???
Let's see yours! Don't forget to tag me so I can see it! ?????☠️⚰️??
On the #RLStine line for an hour and counting...looks like he's still got it! 😮#MorristownFestivalOfBooks 📚
