So I have a winter birthday, and we never had birthday parties because as a navy brat kids got shipped to grandparents for the holiday, so no one is ever around. This isn't a sob story, I always had fun. As I got older I spent my day helping the Salvation Army, and doing fun stuff to prepare for Christmas.

When I was still a library Director my birthday was always amnesty day. Some patrons figured out it was the same day every year. 😀👇🏻
