Librarybelle Congrats! I would recommend anything by Eric Carle and would second this suggestion, my favorite children‘s book:

Goodnight Moon

everlocalwest Congratulations on becoming an auntie! I pride myself on being the book aunt and the first books I get every baby are Where the Wild Things Are and Goodnight Moon. I also love to give Heads and Tails by Matthew Van Fleet. There's a series of books called Indestructables that are just that, indestructible, and are perfect for babies to get them interacting with books without destroying them.

[DELETED] 3803335244 Congrats on becoming an aunt! Anything Winnie the Pooh is wonderful. There is a Disney picture book series of Winnie. Also I find the books with read a long CD‘s great because my children loved to sit in my lap, turn the pages, & listen to the cd. Have fun 7y
