Happy #StrangerThings Day 🥞 I can‘t believe I forgot tagged book and the novelizations of the Upside Down world have been languishing on my TBR... okay maybe it shouldn‘t be that much of a surprise. Anyways enough waffling about that and time to revisit Hawkins, IN.

pickThis was fun! It takes you chapter by chapter, episode by episode through the first season of Stranger Things. Reading it felt like reading a well researched term paper (footnotes and all), but with the tone of your favorite hilarious blogger. Full of info about the show from set design, to music, to plot lines, to the actors themselves. It‘s a fun walk through 1980‘s pop culture. So much nostalgia and I laughed out loud more than once!

2. 10 1/2 years, and 7 1/2 years.
3. Rocky loves to play with those big air-filled plastic bubbles that come as packing material. Colby will burry a ball in the couch cushions just to dig it out again.

Yes!!!! I always said that so much about the upside-down (specifically the spores in the air and the organic, plant like look of things in the upside-down) have always reminded me SO MUCH of The Last Of Us!
Btw, if you‘re into video games and haven‘t played that, you need to. It‘s like a movie.
Recently saw this book and had to pick it up. I haven‘t read it yet, but I‘m looking forward to it. Who else loves Stranger Things? ♥️📺💡

This book is excellent! It‘s not behind the scenes looks. It‘s more than eggos and Christmas lights. It‘s about all of the 80s inspiration, about the movies and shows and books and music referenced. About how the Duffer Brothers tip their hats to all of the things they grew up loving and put them into one amazing show.
Finally starting Stranger Things today!! I just wish I had more time than one episode!
