I love how she signed this letter! Each signature on the letters are different with how her story progresses. I love this one!!

I love that the set up of this book is in letter format. It makes this so fun to read through!

Published in 2015, this historical fiction book shows the adventures of a famous pen pal and a young girl in the year 1948. An inspiring story of a young girl with a dream who wants to be supported by an idol of hers. It‘s authentic in the sense of time period, but the focus is more on this young girls journey and triumphs/failures!

This book caught my eye while I was helping my son select books at our local library. Such a charming book that deals with some very difficult real-world problems. By the end of the book I was sad to be leaving this setting and family. ❤️📬📚
