Moving House | 
Just giving u guys a heads up.... and I will know more by Friday. But there is a good chance I will be moving this weekend. The hubby is going to look at a place 2morrow. I might not be on much this weekend. I will have my phone, so I can check things. I wont have much more than that until we get Internet figured out. Like I said I will let u guys know what's happening. If we r moving its gunna be crazy becuz my son goes back 2 school in 1 week.
We moved in to our new house yesterday, so of course the first thing to do today is to reassemble the bookshelves!
ALMOST done with this whole moving caper. Perhaps THE most irritating portion of the movers just chucking things from god knows where into god knows what box was that they did it with books as well. Books from the office ended up with cook books which ended up with random fiction etc 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ We couldn‘t find anything so we didn‘t know if everything had turned up 😭 On a public holiday Monday, we piled everything by genre & SORTED!
Things could not be said to be going well... Supervisor was a bit of a brutal ass & said the team would work when we asked if they wanted to take a bereavement day. We said to the guys directly, “take the time you need”. Turned out, the funeral was this afternoon and they wanted to go which of course we weren‘t going to object but it meant the move became this... 🤦🏻♀️. I think it is almost worse than boxes. Maybe? Gonna be a LONG week. 😭
Things didn‘t *quite* go as hoped or planned with the move. There were the usual expected problems of damaged boxes, broken furniture and sloppiness of the Mumbai team but the Singapore guys were being just lovely. Heartbreakingly one of them had a heart attack while out on his afternoon drinks break and passed away during the night. Not at how we hoped things would turn out. 💔 Hug your loved ones close today.

The move is officially done, yay!! Didn‘t do an audiowalk yesterday for #LitsyWalkers, but sure got in some solid stepping while moving. This was by far the best car spotted for my #LitsyWalkersBingo. Thank heavens for moving people 🥳👏🏻

I‘ve been pretty preoccupied the last couple months getting ready to move to another province and then actually moving to said province. To say I‘m exhausted is putting it lightly.
Slowly organizing all my babies. But I haven‘t had a chance to get my shelves up yet so they are still scattered all over the basement. Soon, my dears—soon.
Three bookshelves down, three to go! I haven't seen my babies (yes, I mean my books 😂) in over a month. It feels like Christmas to unpack all of these boxes!
Most of these are full of my 700+ books, and none of them are light! 🙈 Who wants to come help me carry???
Sad to say I won't probably be reading to much because in 6 weeks I will probably be moving. Since I've been slacking on my packing until now I will have a lot to do but I'm so excited to be moving on my own!

Our favorite moving tip: leave a few sets of clothes (2 more than you think you need) in an easy-to-access suitcase. We last moved in July and were glad we had extra non-sweaty clothes at hand when needed :)

Phew!! Ten boxes later and over 400 books packed! We start moving next Saturday to our new home and I couldn't be more excited! Let the rest of the packing commence! 💪🏻
Finally moved in to our new house! My new bookshelves should be here and built sometime this week so my babies are still boxed up. Which means I have zero idea what is in each box since hubby packed them! I‘m going in blind - gonna open one of the boxes on top and pick something out of it! Wish me luck! 😂🤞🏻🤓
Guess what Litsy friends!?!?!? Remember that house that my realtor said was going to be our dream home? Well, he was right!! We bought the house and our closing date is February 9, two weeks before my birthday! What an awesome gift to me, haha! I want to say thank you to all my litten friends for being so supportive during our house hunt. You guys are the best and I love this community so much ❤️ Here's a kiss just for you all 😘
I spent the great #LitsyCrash2017 writing my exam (and furiously updating Litsy) and packing down all my books, so we could move the book shelves... 😳😳 now I have just #onewish, and that is for the 29th to get here quickly so I can start unpacking all of them again! 📦
And I got to say, for someone who had to deal with 12 hours of Litsy crash (yay for my time zone!), it was a very, very long day!

I'm (slowly) getting #ready for our move on the 29th. So far, I have packed all the second-row books on my shelves, because I can't really bear to say goodbye to most of my books yet. But, oh, the #celebration I will have when all of my books have been unpacked and organised in the new apartment. I can't wait! 🎉🎉🎉

Twelve boxes later and bookshelves are all packed up...this was after getting rid of 100 books. Moving is the worst.
It‘s official: we are outta here! I‘m packing, prepping the house for sale, and generally just freaking out because we will be moving to North Carolina in December!
Naturally, I won‘t be taking all of the books with me, so stay tuned over the next few days for some fun giveaways. 😁
Moving in December to a smaller place and will only have room for two of my three shelves so getting rid of about 85 books. My family and friends are super excited because they get to go shopping in the piles but I‘m super bummed about it. 😩
We now own a house. My babies will be restored to their rightful place soon.
No photo challenges for me this month as the books are getting boxed up. Sorry @RealLifeReading @Robothugs @Cinfhen . We had been planning to go to Paris this year but obviously any holiday plans are postponed now until next year, so any recommendations for books about Paris to read while I feel sorry for myself and try not to have a nervous breakdown/murder my husband and mortgage broker would be most welcome.
