This was my first Koontz book. Couldn‘t finish. No flow. Annoying to read in my opinion. #bail #koontz #didntfinish

Guildedearlobe Koontz was my favorite as a teenager but lately he‘s been hit or miss. Velocity isn‘t one of my favorites, although plenty love it. I prefer Watchers or Servants of the Twilight. 6y

YourWordsByDesign I‘m currently reading Odd Thomas, one of his older ones—it‘s my first Koontz book and I‘m only a quarter of the way through but it‘s pretty great so far! 🙂 6y

I probably haven't read a Koontz novel since the early '90s. I picked this up at a used book sale because it was cheap and I remembered how much I liked Koontz back in the day, but really haven't thought about him since. What this is not is High Literature. Koontz is not the world's most masterful storyteller. He's no poet. But what he does, he does extremely well. This book was very hard to put down. A fast, fun read.
