A thought provoking little story, tinged with sadness but brimming with heart. This will make any dog lover cherish their pup even more. #Dog

I read this book in one sitting and it broke my heart. Don‘t let the cute cover fool you – this book is sad, but really good!
This is my #BookInTranslation pick for #SummerFun bingo and fulfills another square on my July #BookSpinBingo card!
A lovely read which I‘ve truly enjoyed. Definitely way better than the hen one!
@Foxyfictionista thank you! Read in one sitting on the day I received it. As we are nearing the end of the book club I think the cats 🈠are out of the bag and wanted you to know I loved it! And â¤ï¸ðŸ¶

Love the artwork of these two books but don‘t be deceived by the sweet illustrations on the cover, and the simple fables, as they delve into heavy subject matters like motherhood, freedom, survival, friendships and betrayals.

I don't give out 5 stars very often. Here are some books I am most looking forward to reading. Hopefully they will be at least 4 stars. I own the bottom four and need to get the top three.

Adored this book. I read it in just a couple hours and was incredibly moved once again by Sun-Mi Hwang's ability to write about #friendship, #love, #motherhood and #trauma and portray these themes through an animal. A sweet, touching story, definitely worth reading.
My first #bookdepository #bookmail arrived! 😸
I will now gather a blanket, chocolate, three furry companions, and lots of tissues. Her writing is so beautiful but I need to emotionally prepare myself. The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly had me open mouth little bitch crying for days. 😿
This book is so sad, I was close to tears several times. It's told from the pov of a dog, who had a harsh life but a survivor. I was emotionally attached to her from the start. At the heart of the story, it's about the relationship between the dog & her owner. The writing is simple, the style may not be for everyone but it's an endearing tale dealing with themes of loss, motherhood, friendship, hardship & betrayal. #litsyatoz
