I started day one in this book of 365 yoga meditations. This is probably the closest thing I‘ve got to a resolution for the new year.

I am really enjoying rounding out my yoga practice with this series of brief essays from Rolf Gates. Hopefully, I can get back into the flow and be reading five of these a week! #yogaeverydamnday #breathe

My current journal. This one is a yoga journal for capturing ideas from my readings.
Using this quiet Sunday afternoon to catch up with this wonderful book! 😌
Pairing my return to the mat with readings from this book of brief meditations on the nature of yoga. Thank you to Rebecca Schinsky of @bookriot for this rec on one of their podcasts! Any litsy yoga buddies out there?

I started this book of daily meditations on January 1st and I have been absolutely loving these well curated daily doses of yoga sutra.
#funfridayphoto These two books contain a meditation for each day of the year, so they each took me one year to read. I read Meditations from the Mat in 2015 and Meditations on Intention and Being last year. Unfortunately, these are the only books he's written so I don't have anything similar for this year ☹️.

Not sure if this counts, since I'm in the process now. But, I'm taking this book as recommended: one entry per day for a year. So far, I'm loving it!!

@mcipher I wish I knew a way to add this to our comment thread (as it doesn't have to do with books). Thought you might appreciate this 😂😂😂✌
#slowread This book begs to be taken slowly. One meditation for each day of the year & then start again. #readjanuary @RealLifeReading
The first of two book Mail hauls expected in 2017, but ordered on 2016. Excited to spend the new year with yoga meditations.
Everyone at my yoga class this morning was so distraught about the election that, in a class that's usually pretty vigorous, we spent most of 90 minutes just laying on the floor. We could all use some of Rolf Gates' messages of compassion and loving-kindness right now. 🕉
