Guys! I had a very successful shop at my local Ollies Bargain Market. I got this book for $4, hoping it‘ll get me out of my slump! And I got a 2 pound bag of all beef beef jerky bits for $3!! I‘m so excited, I love beef jerky in any way shape form or flavor! Today is a better day than I have had in a while and I really hope everyone has a beautiful day, if not today very soon!!

I DNF‘d after about 6 chapters. I just could not wade through the confusing fantasy elements. There‘s so many different tribes, and they all have different gods, cultures, and rules. It‘s exhausting. This book is long, folks, and so much world building slows the plot down.

I‘ve been really enjoying reading Moon Chosen. Anyone else read it?

SO! I remember reading P.C. Cast in high school. So I decided to go with this series. I finished book 2. The series would be 100000x better if I was able to read the actual book instead of listening to it. Mostly because the reader's voice makes me want to slam my head into a wall. but other than that, I love these books 🤷🏻‍♀️

Told a friend about how much I loved this book. She can't find it at her local library, so I bought the book and gave it to her.

I just got this from the library this morning! Is it weird for adults to read YA? I'm not young, per say, but I am an adult! And why do so many bookstagram accounts talk about YA so often (the ones I follow do)? Also, has anyone read this series? Sounds interesting!

Book mail from today

I loved this book. I picked it up to preread for my daughter's TBR pile, but it was clear from the start it wasn't a good fit for a ten year old. I'm sold on this series and will be anxiously awaiting the sequel.
I also feel like I need to add that I felt like a dork while loving this book. I'm all about fantasy books but there's something about this one that is just off and nerdy in a weird way, but its weirdness made it endearing for me.

This was my 1st book after 6 years of hiatus of not reading! I loved it. I've read I think 6 of the house of night series which I need to catch up on. But I love how it was writted. It drew me in and the cover oh my gods. The cover is beautiful and I lost it! It's gone...makes me sad I want it as a poster ha. But anyways I loved this I like the romance I can't wait for the 2nd. The mom and daughter really know how to write BOOKS!

I received a refund to my PayPal acct, so I used it to buy my first book sleeve. I LOVE it!! This one is a perfect size for me, as I normally read hardbacks. This has the hardback of Moon Chosen in it (over 600 pages), and it fits very well. It's from Baby My Book on Etsy. They have some really cool ones.

This book was a refreshing, unique read. I thought it was going to be a subpar werewolf novel but I was massively incorrect (don't judge a book by its cover, though this cover is gorgeous). This novel takes place on a earth different then ours, there are tribes of people who gain strength from different 'powers', whether from the moon, sun, or the flesh of others. It's a savage world that after tragedy leaves Mara searching for her place.

Picking this back up again after being is a serious reading rut. But now the pollen count is a bazillion so I might as well sit and read! Plus hubby got me these awesome HP magnet bookmarks😍. 💜Dobby💜

It's been raining for two days so I'm doing this. This book is a little bouncy story wise, lots of intertwining stories that I'm sure will start to merge soon but I find myself getting annoyed when it chances characters on me, I'm like
"Hey, I was still reading that!" But I really like the world building and I'm really interested in how this all turns out?

When I'm having a bad mental health week my wonderful hubby knows what makes me happy! I love P.C. Cast but I did not love The House of Night books, I made it to the fourth one before I could no longer stand the teenage melodrama. I'm looking forward to diving into this new world Ms.Cast has created! #newread

Moon Chosen by P.C. Cast is the first book in her new epic YA fantasy series. The world has completely changed with the end of technology. It is filled w/ vivid detail with a portion of the beginning setting up the distinct individual groups, and the dangers forthcoming. Overall, it was an enthralling and fantasy novel that leaves you in the end with questions that need answers, excited to know what happens next. I eagerly recommend!

It drives me nuts when authors write dialogue where the characters repeat each other's names over and over again... It's so unrealistic and takes me right out of the story. No one talks like that!

I can't wait to go book shopping! I definitely must buy Moon Chosen with them. Not sure what else yet.
