I‘m sharing the recipe I plan on making for Christmas breakfast/brunch. Eggs Benedict Casserole sounds pretty great to me! And you can make it the night before which makes me happy. I plan on making a crockpot of white hot chocolate to go along with it.

Here‘s the yummy dinner @HotdogZanzabaar and I had last night from GoKupz, a local Korean street food restaurant. I had fried pork, rice, salad, sushi, kimchi, zucchini, and veggie dumplings. It was amazing. 😍

It‘s the fictionalized account of the last days of Robert “Yummy” Sandifer, an 11 year old boy and gang member who shot and killed a 14 year old girl, Shavon Dean in 1994. Soon after he was killed by his own gang. It doesn‘t excuse Yummy‘s actions, but it paints a fuller picture of a kid abused by his parents who in turn used violence against others.

Based on the tragic true story of 11 year old Robert "Yummy" Sandifer, it focuses on the days that led to Yummy killing a young girl while trying to impress a gang, and the aftermath of this event. It tries to present Yummy as a complete person, both the good and the bad. This really makes me stop and think about his life, and what could've been done to make it end differently.
Had to pause tonight's reading to finish making this chocolate cream pie to bring to my parents' this weekend.
