Lovely Saturday afternoon romp. The creativity in defeating the entire Marvel Universe is great, and my love for Squirrel Girl grows.

"Horseback vigilantes hanging out at the dump, snapping shotguns in half to impress the dump teens." HAHAHAHAHA nice Dark Knight reference there. ??
Because students can't afford scholarly journals on a Raman noodle budget. -Libraries Transform- one of my fav bookmarks
I'm sadly having to set this book to the side for now but the positive, can-do attitude and humor, mixed with extremely practical advice, from this book means I do plan to pick it back up in the future! "Triathlon and endurance sports are not just for the skinny, the fast and the young. They're for you. You're not too slow, fat, old or klutzy. You're just fine. Start today."
Light, silly, and fluffy as a squirrel. Perfect for when I need a smile and to not get too wrapped up in my own brain. Possible cosplay in the future?? Variant cover pictured here. :)
"And who just happens to appear to have a conspicuously large and conspicuously awesome butt." Here's to cosplaying Squirrel Girl everyday! ?
In 1897, Hirschfeld founded the Scientific-Humanitarian Committee and gathered more than 5,000 signatures on a petition from prominent citizens to overturn Paragraph 175. The signatories included Albert Einstein, writers Herman Hesse and Thomas Mann, poet Rainer Maria Rilke, and philosopher Martin Buber.
SO. PUMPED. FOR. TONIGHT. Got my tickets for #logan tonight. Thanks again to Mom and Dad for movie ticket gift cards!! I'm sure late night premiers when I have work the next day is the exact #adultlife choice you had in mind. 😅 #x23 #comics
Disagreeable? No. Determined? YES.
Fantastic energetic illustrations and typography. An almost superhero treatment of a biography of the super heroic real life RGB.
"That's some strong stuff Raoul be writin'. He was workin' it. Frankly, I didn't know Raoul had it in him. Matter of fact, I didn't know he knew that much English!" The voice cast is on point so far!
#riotgrams Day 3 - One word title. I still think about this book several years after reading it. I love so much about it. Hopefully can reread it soon! #bookstagram #orleans #sherrismith #postapocalyptic #scifi #weneeddiversebooks
No I'm not getting a shake and waffle fries! THEY'RE CLOSED, STOMACH. You just had tea and eggs chill out!! 🍳
3 things I seriously enjoyed:
1) book cover/design/illustrations/layout
2) tie-ins to other books/literature
3) pacing/how the chapters are broken up.
Just lovely illustration work by Randy DuBurke.
Actually addressing where the costume is coming from, I like it. Also, when can I go shopping with Black Widow?
A fun blast of a book, with characters that are emotionally complex within a story, which at first, feels like a light hearted romp. If you enjoy Lumberjanes, Dr. Horrible, or monster girls, give this one a go.
"I just want you to feel proud of yourself!" -Blackheart
The voice cast on the audiobook is fantastic. The film script style of narration works better for Monster than it does for Myers's Riot, simply because having our narrator doing the job of defining the edits solidifies it as first person point of view and it helps define Steve's characterization.
"Sometimes I feel like I have walked into the middle of a movie. Maybe I can make my own movie. The film will be the story of my life. No, not my life, but of this experience. I'll call it what the lady who is the prosecutor called me. MONSTER."
