This was a fun little cozy read. I predicted the culprit but it was still a good read. I recommend it if you are in the mood for some easy reading with a non-violent mystery. Start with the first in the series though as this is the second.

Book 2 in my #audiobook reread of the Her Royal Spyness series was another enjoyable ride. It‘s not as good as the first one, but almost. The narrator is excellent (RIP Katherine Kellgren) and I had a hard time stopping this and doing more productive things. 4⭐️

2020 #40. I‘m kinda into this series.

It‘s been hard to settle down with a book lately. What is it about funerals that bring up old family dramas? 🙄 I am taking no sides, but it seems that means ALL the people want to tell me how awful everyone else is.

Bah humbug. I finally get a chance to avoid the humans. This little book seems like it will do the trick. I can‘t do anything too serious or philosophical this week!

My #readinggoals for #selfimprovementseptember are to try to read at least 1 book just for fun a week. It‘s not a lot but between my son starts school Tuesday and he goes to an online public school at home so I‘ll have that plus my own online college class and I don‘t want to feel overwhelmed or guilty on those days I absolutely cannot read another word and just want to spend an hour before bed just playing a video game 😂.

I really enjoyed this. I think I liked it better than the first one (at least from what I remember, anyway). There are humourous, lighthearted moments in the books. Though I am not necessarily a fan of some of her rich friends, I do like Georgie, as she‘s had to learn to be more self-sufficient.

I've had to read on my iPad as I am recovering from hand surgery and can't hold a book, and keep coming back to this series as quick light reads available on Libby. They're a pick for their easy enjoyment. In this book, Georgie entertains a troublesome Bavarian princess who turns out to be trouble indeed. The continued development of the relationship between Georgie and her love interest Darcy, while plotted a bit too patly, is rather charming.

Enjoying listening to the second book in this series. Instead of reading it I found this series is better to listen to it because of the hilarious scenes in it. Haven‘t gotten that far yet and don‘t even know who is murdered yet. So have quite a ways to go.

That one scene really angered me. I might still continue the series but it might be a while.

Monday is tough!
Nothing seems to go quite right, I‘m late waking up to get my son to school, my to do list is 5 pages long, and my hair is not having a good morning. Days like this deserve #cozymysteries , pretty flowers, warm tea and a face mask. I can‘t wait to get home ❤️

This was another great book in the Her Royal Spyness series! Georgie again finds herself right in the middle of a crazy murder mystery but with 3 dead bodies this time! You laugh, you get scared for what will happen next & you cheer her on for her triumphs. I can‘t wait to read the next book in this series and see what all Georgie gets into next!

I do like this series. My favorite part is the subplot where the queen is focused on keeping the Prince of Wales away from Wallis Simpson. It's always lurking in the background of the story. #LetterR #LitsyAtoZ

I'm home from work and finally get to join #litsypartyofone!

I don't know what is wrong with me. I'm 10 days post-op. The pain is still there, but it's getting better. I've had a headache for a couple of days, but that's not too unusual. I just don't feel "right"; like myself. I can't settle in to a book to read, I don't feel like doing anything or dealing with anyone, and I just want to curl up in a ball away from everyone. This is one of those times I'd make a solo bookstore trip, but I can't drive.

The second book in Her Royal Spyness series is almost as enjoyable as the first. Georgie finds herself entertaining a Bavarian princess 👸🏻 at the behest of the queen herself. Hilarity ensues. I love Georgie as a character and found myself laughing out loud on several occasions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Recommended! #mystery

I forgot to review this after I finished it a couple weeks ago! I love this adorable series. This one started off a bit shakily, but once it found its footing it was every bit as delightful as the first book. They are delightful treats on audio.

Loving this series! Georgie is awesome and plus another Darcy to swoon over.

Library trip today! It's always hard to know where to start with so many new books to read...so I'll just continue with my most recent series, Her Royal Spyness.

It's not perfect but it's better then a so-so so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt as I want to read more. I like the idea - even if the "royal spyness" moniker makes me cringe. I had the culprit figured out in this quite early, but it scratched my Daisy Dalrymple/Phryne Fisher itch even if it's not as clever as they are!

Today's train book! So far it's fun and frothy and very readable.

Seems like mysteries are my jam right now. Just finished A Royal Pain and I love this series. Not particularly believable but that's not why we read right? Fun bit of escapism and apparently just what I need these days.

Fun, well done fluff.
