I love this series!!

Yes, Cole was a giant tool through most of this book. I even understand why, but still a jerk.

I loved Imogen so much though. She‘s strong and knows what she wants and goes for it. She went through so much and came out stronger for it.

I do appreciate how she eventually brought Cole up to snuff.

I liked the heroine, but the hero was such a jerk. I believe the author was trying to keep the suspense going and show us a resourceful heroine. I enjoyed cameos from other characters in this highly enjoyable series. Actually, this is the only book in the series I would pass on.

I cancelled my plans last night and spent some time introverting. It was much needed. This book was a lot of fun to escape into. If you‘re a fan of historical fiction romance, I‘d recommend this series (this is book 4).
