Fellow Littens! I‘m looking for books about big houses, family secrets, (mystery, thriller, suspense, scary, etc.) that will keep me turning pages. No boring family sagas. Suggestions?

Currently reading this collection of books with three of the five animals in attendance on my bed.

Day off because of winter weather. I would like to say snow day but it is more ice on the roads. Here is south Louisiana we don‘t have the equipment to deal with it. We also have a LOT of water and bridges which makes it difficult.

This is the first Laura Thalassa book I did not like and I have read most of them. I just could not get behind demons being a race of anything but pure evil.

Really enjoyed this book. The repeat of things did become tedious at times but I like the ending.

Why do narrators think French Louisianans sound like they are from Alabama or some other southern state?!?!?!? NO! Please research your role! I can never listen to audiobooks from southern Louisiana because of this. I have yet to find one that does not use a southern accent. It does not have to be a true Cajun accent but please do not use a southern drawl. 😧🤨😱😤

Current reads. The Godling Chronicles are not usually my type of thing but I figured I would try it.

My current companions as I read this lovely Friday night. Rex has knocked almost everything off my table so he can sleep there. Lily Belle is on her favorite blanket and Baby Tiger is hanging out beside me.

Finished the first one and moving on to this one. Loving these books!

#wondrouswednesday. Yes! Easter is my favorite holiday! We attend Mass on Thursday for the washing of the feet, the veneration of the Cross in Good Friday, Mass on Holy Saturday, then either the Easter Vigil or Easter Mass on Sunday. My kids are grown. —I am having a good reading month but with mostly audiobooks because that is what I have time for. I am very grateful for Mom and Dad. @Eggs
