The cover ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous
Noemi ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Fell in ❤️ with her
The story ⭐⭐⭐ It is based on mesoamerican myths, and we don't have anything similar in the myths I have grown up with, and was somewhat disconnected

Overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and you would ❤️ Noemi

I thought this book could have been so much more. The settings were awesome. The plot turned out to be predictable and bland. Would have 😍 to see more resistance.

What do you think?

SiameseCatsRead I honestly thought it was perfect for me. There was indulgence, a girl who was the authoritarian, resistance, romance, redemption, and true friendship. I loved it and thought it was my best read in a long time, but as we know, we all have different tastes! 4y

What a book! What a debut! Such a fantastic lead 🤩
If Teresa were to be cast in a movie (mea culpa 😋), who do you think would be best?
I would like to see Meg Ryan in her shoes 😍

A great thriller. An American crime fiction that I liked, after a long time. Meg is my daughter's first name, and that's one more reason why I like this ❤️ A pick, definitely 👍

PSreads73 Indeed the best cover for Daisy‘s story. It shows how colorful was the life she lived. I think it‘s also a representation of the 60‘s and of the psychedelic drugs Daisy took. 5y

The best non-fiction I read this year. Felt heart broken for Maggie. Lina's story is so surreal. Highly recommended 👌👍😍♥️

Reggie The whole part about the trial for Maggie made me sooooo angry!!!!! What teacher has any business talking to my daughter (I have no kids) after midnight for 4 hours. Those jurors were stupid. 5y

Read an interview of the author, where she says she relates to Lina the most. I +1 that. Almost feels surreal to think that she is not a character, rather someone in flesh and blood.

Who do you relate to the most among the three?

#BlameItOnLitsy hits and misses..
Hits:
Tomie - loved it for the wild, macabre ride
Brazen - Yummy artwork and lovely women, need I ask for more?!
Cabin at the end of the world - Very relevant, in these intolerant times..

Misses:
Vox - too loud but flat
Annihilation - too complex for me, didn't understand much

Which is your favorite story by Poe? I loved "The Cask of Amontillado"
I found "The tell tale heart" to be very modern, and the "Raven" a masterpiece
Great illustrations set the mood wonderfully.
Highly recommended ??
