I bet this is going to be a slog but I‘ll give it a try.
I bet this is going to be a slog but I‘ll give it a try.
Just starting this and I‘m so excited. I love chunky epic fantasies.
Just finished this. It‘s famous for making people sob their hearts out. While it didn‘t make me cry, it‘s one of the best books I‘ve ever read. (But seriously, if this made you cry, don‘t read any Kristin Hannah books cuz you‘re gonna have a bad time. Lol)
This book was INCREDIBLE. I can‘t remember the last time I genuinely enjoyed a book so much. If you‘re in a reading slump, I highly suggest you read it.
I just started this and I already have to add all her books to my never ending TBR.
When a book reminds you so much of your own past, it‘s heartbreaking in the best way.
This has got to be the most underrated fantasy series I‘ve ever read. So glad I stumbled across it at the library.
It‘s amazing how books can make you feel so connected to a person of a different ethnicity, from a different time and place. We really do have more in common than we know.
I love when you‘re reading a great series and the next book is even longer than the one before it. Can‘t wait to start this 782 page chunkster!
“There is no better distraction in this world than losing oneself in books for awhile.”-Magnus Bane
Just finished Mage‘s Blood and I‘m so excited to start this one! It‘s amazing what you‘ll find in the discard stack at the library.
This is why I get distracted reading for #24in48. Lol but I‘m gonna make it!
We each owe a death, there are no exceptions, I know that, but sometimes, oh God, the Green Mile is so long.
Library is closing so I had to stock up while I could! What‘s in your #panicstack ? 😂📚
Not nearly as good as I was hoping it would be, but probably the most beautiful title and cover I‘ve ever seen.
This caught my eye at the library. I love a good thick epic fantasy.
Any time I feel like complaining about my job, I think I‘ll just look through this. Jeez....
If you struggle with depression, please read this book. Books really can save your life.
Just found out the next book in this series comes out in May! I thought this was the last one! 😁
Got this from the library because it looked interesting. Never heard of the author before but it‘s so good I already put all her books on my to read list.
This is my favorite book from this weekend. Still nowhere near finishing it, but that‘s just another reason why it‘s so good! #24in48 hour 42 challenge
Not quite what Tyrion said, but definitely more me. #24in48 hour 36 challenge
Harry Potter will always be my favorite YA series. I have bought multiple copies over the years. There‘s just no beating HP. #24in48 hour 30 challenge
If I had to pick a favorite romance novel, this would be it, but I really don‘t like romance much. I‘m a Sci Fi Fantasy kinda girl. #24in48 hour 18 challenge
My current audiobook pick for #24in48. I listen to audiobooks at work mainly with the Libby app. Hour 12 challenge.
Starting off #24in48 with this book that I‘ve been meaning to read for years. So excited!
How does Cassandra Clare keep writing so many good books?! Magnus and Alec are my favorite couple in all of literature.
My southern accent gets so much more pronounced after listening to this audiobook. 😂
Me: Why does my currently reading stack keep getting bigger instead of smaller even though I‘m constantly reading?
Also me: *Spontaneously checks out an 804 page book from the library because it looks pretty. *
I got so lucky at the bookstore today!
Not too sure what to think of this one.
Here‘s my #bookhaul. Unfortunately they were out of the tote bags. 😩 #somuchfornotbuyinganymorebooks
I have never had a book break my heart as much as this one did. I don‘t know what to do with all these feelings!
I don‘t know why this book jumped out at me at the bookstore but I‘m so glad it did. So good I had to get the audio book because I couldn‘t stop reading but also had to go to work. 😆📚
“Sooner or later in life everyone discovers that perfect happiness is unrealizable, but there are few who pause to consider the antithesis: that perfect unhappiness is equally unattainable.”
Terry Goodkind is the best fantasy author ever! His books really take you away from the real world for awhile.
Always good to read books written by people from other cultures. Eye opening. #1001books
Starting out pretty good. Finally a nice quick read off the #1001books list.
“So you think this feeling you have, of missing half of yourself, must be fixed. That it can‘t be what everyone else is feeling when they lose someone. But it is. Grief can be so bad you can‘t breathe, but that‘s what it means to be human. We lose, we suffer, but we have to keep breathing.”-Magnus Bane
