Rhysand customised pop because I had a spare Draco. I love him.
Back to form. Like seeing Hazel as a kid. Seems I picked out the same page as others as a fave too.
Loved this. Short and sweet. Cute art. Here's three of my faves.
What's better than obsessively following the EUref result. Sharing a trip to France with Harriet Manners who is as fabulously herself as ever. Also includes an excerpt from Nick's perspective and his 'Intro to Toby' is awesome.
Mr Darcy doesn't know what version is best. Do you?
Fabulous collection of poems that I loved even though a small i was always used ;0)
Feminism, Politics, Sex, Cakes, Grans and Space
Sparkly promotion for this book. It worked. It's on my TBR. Sounds great.
Loved the feminism in this. The plot was intriguing. The concept of the lie tree engaging. Only issue I had really was that I really didn't like Faith's dad all that much and was frustrated at her complete devotion to him, although there was some development on that front.
Ooh Faith's dad is ..... Grrrr. Feminist me is frustrated.
Really charming tale inspired by a true story. Some really vapid and obnoxious characters but Princess Caraboo is the star of this tale. Reminds me of My Fair Lady and The Little Princess in tone.
Received this book in May's owlcrate. Everland is a steampunk retelling of Peter Pan in almost a dystopian style. I loved the characters, especially Bella. I guessed some of the links early on (not that you weren't meant to). Glad to know a sequel is in the clockworks!
Better than Moranthology, not quite as good as How to be a Woman. Liked the idea of everyone writing, and sharing, their own political manifesto. Must get on that. Forgot the audiobook narrator wasn't Caitlin, she got her tone well.
Got a copy of this in May's Illumicrate. I read the ARC earlier in the year and it is a brilliant story of a teen relationship and a great portrayal of bipolar disorder. Claim your days people.
I started reading this after watching the TV series and it wasn't as gripping if I'm honest. Interesting premise. Less plot drivers for the main character and a little slow. Well written and good insight into depression. Preferred the school part to the Fillory/Narnia aspect. Will prob read sequels.
This was my favourite of the three shorts. Gave a good insight into the start of Despina and Jalal's relationship and we got to meet Ava too.
This book is stunning to look at all the way through. A perfect coffee table book. Perhaps would have benefitted from a little more content but nice introduction to some folklore.
I'm afraid I let myself be too persuaded by the cover but really didn't enjoy this. I listened to it on audiobook and wonder if that added to the irritation a little. If I hear 'Ants in your pants' again!!! Just found it dull and I found myself not concentrating or caring much what happened.
If we can judge books by their covers this series must be perfect
When you realise that you've Cosplayed the character inspired by his mum!!!
