Oh, I just finished this up, and I loved it so much! A beautiful story of a life going from small and gray to big and full of color.

I like a story that draws you in to both action and emotion, and this one does a great job with that. Marilia moves along at a good pace, keeping your attention and engaging your emotions, giving you something to sink your teeth into.
An action packed fantasy with a strong female main character.
This was an ARC I received for a review.
The picture is just one of me at my spinning wheel at the fair, just because.
So, I'm flipping back and forth between the audio and Kindle of this book, and it's very powerful. If you are an Audible subscriber, it's in their catalog. The voices of black British womanhood.
We took a ride to visit my mother in law this morning, and as you can see, the leaves are peaking in that area. It gave me a chance to start my next book on the ride out, but being outside definitely was the highlight with colors like this!
1. We used to always go apple 🍎 picking with the extended family.
2 I read The Far Pavillions in my very early 20s and it made a huge impact on me, both good and bad. I still reread it on a regular basis
3. GoodReads and my planner.

I definitely enjoyed all the tricksy little twists and turns in this one, especially at the end. It didn't stimulate my reading buddy quite as much, apparently. I'll look for more books by the author. Creepy without being too scary.

1. I tend to be a terrible book hoarder if I'm not careful and I love browsing the shelves for hours. I try to fill my Kindle up.
2. I love both coffee and herbal tea.

One of my current reads. Loving the blend of herbal wisdom and the insight into the local culture. If you have any interest in herbalism or natural healing, you'll love it too.
I mostly read this one driving back and forth to dog events. Light, easy car reading with a steampunk edge. Fun!
Today was a lounge in bed with the husband, ice cream eating, book reading kind of day, and I finished this off. I'm not sure how to feel about this book. It was beautiful, disturbing, painful. I'll think about this one for awhile. Read it!
Great book, great narrator. I just finished listening to the Audible version while working at my spinning wheel.
#beachinbookswap #Tiffy_Reads @Alicia My very exiting and beautifully wrapped package! I love everything, and I can't thank you enough, Alicia💖🎁📚
@MrsV I hate to tell you this, and I'm really embarrassed, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I didn't get your book swap package out on time. I'll get it to you as soon as I can. Sorry for my ineptness, but I'll make it up to you.
I LOVED this book! The audio cast was fabulous, and it was just so beautifully written. I adore Neil Gaiman.
This is one of my current reads. I'm taking an herbalism class, and this caught my eye. Lots of nutrition out there for the taking. I'm sitting out with the dogs absorbing this.
I started this series when the first book came out, and enjoyed it. Interesting themes and characters, and enough magic to keep it interesting. I didn't get a pic with the book, so I'll share my scarf hot off the loom, made with my handspun.
This book was okay. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Sorry I can't generate more enthusiasm. But it's done, and I'm moving on. My blood pressure is high, and I'm resting with Bella, devouring books and movies, but unfortunately, not pretzels :(
I'm a fan of alternate histories, and looked on Kindle and in our library system, only to find it at the Salvation Army!
I really enjoyed this one. Just like all of Patterson's books, it went down fast and easy. If you like seeing good people go through tough times and bounce back, this is the read for you. I tried to get a picture of one of my feline reading partners in the shot, but she was uncooperative, so I posted a sticker of a surrogate kitty with my book.
Does anyone else have books that they fall back on as #comfortreads ? This is a book that I keep coming back to again and again, among several others. There's something here that resonates with me, maybe because I find it cathartic. This is one of my default stress books, along with #Outlander and #TheFarPavillions . I'm currently listening to the #Audible version, which is good. Both narrators do a nice job, letting you sink down into the story.
I'm most of the way through the Audible version, and am really enjoying it. It's a solid combination of history, science, and a fascinating human interest story.
