Amazing book! It is infuriating, saddening, And sometimes happy. I went through all the emotions in this book. I can‘t even put into words how much I learned and gained from this book. This should be required reading!!!

So excited to flip through these pages.
My first Pym, and I'm loving her style and seeing the characters daily life! It is very enjoyable! I am now wanting to read everything she has written! Anyone have recommendations on what to read next of hers? No fond return of love" or "some tame gazelle" ? #recommendations

Read this for the second time yesterday! Loved it even more than the first time. It is a mixture between hilarious stories and a couple more serious ones. My two favorites the wainscoting war and take it from cats!
I have only read 2 poetry collections prior to this, so I was nervous to jump into this collection. But, this was so enjoyable, definitely raw and emotional poetry. Separated by sections like heartbreak, sadness and loneliness. I definitely would recommend!!
I have not heard anything about this book of poetry, but I opened to this and I was sold!!!
Excited is an understatement!!!
I don't know how my shelfs get so unorganized so quickly, I will be spending tonight and most of my day tomorrow cleaning my shelfs up!! Oh yeah! Do any of you littens have suggestions for how I should organize? I've always done alphabetical, or by genre.
The first time I have ever been on call at the hospital and not had to go in!!! It is between these three books on the bottom, any thoughts?!
First EVER book depository order! I am so excited about these two purchases!!
Ahh I got my first BOTM box today and I am so excited!! This sounds like it is going to be a great story.
A little over halfway through! I did not think it was possible but so far it's made me love and appreciate The Princess Bride movie even more! It's a great behind the scenes of the filming and kinship between the cast and also has other cast members thoughts included as well!
I loved this book! I really enjoyed the realistic aspect of the changing family dynamic after losing a child. The only problem I had with this book were a couple things that occurred at the end. Still a solid 4 stars for me!!
About to start on the last 50 pages. I really have enjoyed this book, and have become obsessed with Sebold's writing style. Thanks for pulling me outta my slump Alice!!!
Okay, I need some help deciding which one of these beauties I should start with!!! Any suggestions?! I start reading Books to get me in the mood for Halloween as early as I possibly can, so don't judge.
Really enjoying this so far! Also, I love the Barnes and Noble classics and how they include backstory on the author and a timeline!
I love a good library book sale, 20 books for $6!!
I think if you can separate this from the rest of the series you will enjoy it. I was personally completely satisfied with the finale of the series in the 7th book and was not hoping or expecting a true 8th book. I did enjoy seeing some of my favorite characters again, this book was more of a fan fiction in my opinion. I liked this but in a different way than the series. Basically it's hard to explain what I thought of this.
About to start a new Obsidian Mystery series!! I'm so excite 🤓
Well I didn't get to participate in the #24in48 this weekend because I was visiting my parents, but I still have a couple of days off work so I thought today I would begin my own #24in48!
Whenever I come home to Kansas City I always go to my favorite bookstore. I love the book mess. I picked up a 1948 edition of I capture the castle and a couple books from the Cherry Ames series! All for 10 bucks!
I actually really enjoyed this book. I appreciated the real ness of this relationship. It was not insta love, it was complicated and at times frustrating but that's what made it relatable and real. I'm not a romance fan but this real take on romance had me hooked.
Our book club of three decided on this for our first book! Really excited. Don't see how it could top The Husband's Secret though.
I need a couple good choices for a perfect book club book! Any suggestions?!
I'm not quite halfway through with this, but I appreciate the non-insta love component, and I love how the timing is always off for Alex and Rosie. It makes the story much more believable and much more relatable than most romantic stories!
I finally found a copy of this gem! I have been searching for so long. Cannot wait to dive in.
Happy Sunday! I would like to spend the whole day reading this book, because it is a million times better than I thought it would be.
For Fun Friday Photo, I thought I would share my Tolkien collection (what fits in the frame that is). I am obsessed with everything he does and I hope to continue my collection.
My ever growing TBR pile, now where do I start?!
A perfect explanation of our health care system! Sad but very true.
Medical nonfiction is one of my favorites! I'm only on the prologue, but I have a feeling this will be fantastic!
Ahh my first experience with Harry Potter has come to an end. I was expecting so much from the last book and was given everything I wanted and more. This experience was truly a fantastic one!!
This is finally happening!! I will no longer be the only person in the world yet to finish Harry Potter!!
Started this today, and I can already tell this Book will be the ultimate escape!!
This was a great story. I love the format and the narrative. Otsuka's writing style was fantastic, it was simple yet each sentence left an impact. I must pick up more of her work!!
The Wainscoting war was hilarious!!! And Take it from cats was the best advice I have ever received!!! You should read this now!
Fantastic read that will change the way you think about death and what it means to be alive.
