This is my all time favorite fiction book. This book has an alphabet rhyme that students will enjoy while also teaching them the alphabet using beautiful illustrations. This book can be used in the classroom for students to practice letter recognition and phonemic awareness with literature. All of the letters (A to Z) race each other up the coconut tree. Will there be enough room for them all to fit? Have to read to find out!

Myiab This book would be perfect for S and RA. S and RA can improve the students listening and processing skills while encouraging and motivating students to read and write. One UDL strategy is 2.1: clarifying vocabulary and symbols. I would use the alphabet as symbols for the El's to follow along. An El strategy that can be used is 17 (use visuals, and audio books). #ucflae3414su19 . (edited) 5y
