This book hooked me pretty early. As anxious as I am to find out about the missing kid, I'm more interested in the past that Anna is hiding😌🙃#tlcbooktours #readmorebooksbywomen #thedayidied

Reading this, I'm really just starting to think that Nic's character is just finally being herself. The accident seems to have been a good thing for her ironically

It's always satisfying when a story has a well rounded ending. I rather enjoyed this Jialing's story. However, bittersweet, this richly entangled story of folklore, adolescent, family, life and finding a place in the world set the early 1900s was compelling from start to finish. ❤❤👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 #chinesefolklore #diversebooks #contemporaryfiction #historicalfiction #comingofage #pocprotagonists #tlcbooktours

TheBookAddict #nicestack I've been meaning to read Kindred for a long time now, but with my long TBR list I keep on forgetting to read it. I'm gonna have to take a trip to the library to get it. 😊 8y
Gjacksreads @TheBookAddict ☺same here! Haha I'm trying something new this time and only picking a handful of books to focus on at one time. (Not easy😩 so many options) I just hope it works😬 8y

Mm. I started to like the story a bit more as it progressed but I had some difficulty associating Molly's cultural heritage to her character as we got vague details about it on top of the fact that she was always angry and whinny. I liked Vivian's character more throughout the book(despite the retelling of the past was supposed to be the voice of a 9 year old with the vocabulary and self awareness of a 19 year old).

I really loved this book and the positive message that is infused within it. The author establishes a strong bond & connection among Alex,Jordan,Kinsu, Chase & Rhee at the very beginning & it was exhilarating to watch these young heroes grow into their roles.Underneath the concept of the paranormal changes they faced, the thing that held this story together was their boys like brothers brotherhood. #booksforyoungerreaders #diversebooks #pocauthors

Fantastic book! It had thought out humor, intimacy, narrative & strong character dynamics between Gwen and Eli. Gwen,a bonafide millionaire, isn‘t the type to flaunt her wealth & has reservations about Eli based off of her relationship with her ex. Eli,a self-sacrificing,committed doctor misunderstands Gwen due to the blind trust he put into his ex. One thing cannot be denied,Gwen & Eli have some of the best chemistry I‘ve seen. ❤️ 📚 #pocauthors
