This book is battered and beaten like many of the characters that Pierce Brown crafted carefully. If you are looking for the story of an underdog, manipulation, rage, love and passion - look no further. I can‘t wait to read book two and rate this bad boy an 8/10. Absolutely worth the read.

Just started this series by Pierce Brown and am already enthralled. I haven‘t read sci-fi/fantasy for a while so this is a nice reintroduction to round out 2021.
