Josie Silver‘s One Day In December was one of my favorite books of 2019 so I have high hopes for her newest book and Pachinko has been high atop my to read list for a while now and I can‘t for the life of me understand why I haven‘t read it yet.

So...remember yesterday when I posted about all the books I was hoping to get through at the beginning of the year? Well add one more to that list. Just happened to wander into the library yesterday evening 😙and look what was sitting right there in the “staff picks” section just waiting for me to take her home 😌.
Just a few of the books I am hoping to get through at the beginning of the year, but with a lot of new releases that I am super excited for coming out in the next few weeks, we‘ll see how many of these I actually get to. End of year rundown! These are a just few of my favorite books of 2019. This year was a great reading year, a year only to rival 2012 & 2013. I read one amazing book after another and can only hope that 2020 is just as good!

The perfect Thanksgiving beach (or poolside) read! I read my first Christina Lauren earlier this year and knew I needed one more under my belt before the end of the year. I am loving this one almost as much as The Unhoneymooners!

Can someone explain to me why Verity is in the romance category?? I wanted to vote for it as it was one of my favorite books of 2019 but I couldn‘t vote for it as a romance novel. That book terrified me!

pickThe book reminded me of both The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield and We Have Always Lived In The Castle by Shirley Jackson which obviously means its a must read! Haunting and compelling, pick it up ASAP!
