I'm on chapter 3, but it feels slow-going so far. Does it get better? So far, I'm getting a lot of information, but all I've learned about the story is that our main character hates the main boy that's been introduced. Will this be a story that ends up on my DNF list?

I, personally, just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would--Nordic myth type stories are usually up my alley. I finished it, but I don't think I'll be reading the next book whenever it's released.

I would rate this 4 out of 5 pages, so don't let the so-so rating put you off--it just wasn't 'Pick' (5/5).

This is a gripping story of witches in 17th-century England on the surface, but is more Handmaid's Tale that actually existed. One follows the main character, Fleetwood Shuttleworth, through her journey navigating this world with a tight grip on the book, hoping she is not consumed by it--when all she wants is a baby and autonomy.
