panFor the cover alone, I‘ve been saving this used bookstore find for reading on actual Halloween! Unfortunately, the cover is the best part of this very 90s horror novel. With gore, absolutely cringingly awful sex scenes & wooden characters who so nonchalantly accept the supernatural & never really discuss anything, this is a slog to get through. Never delivering any real chills or thrills, I guess I‘ll be using this as a decoration moving forward!

pickA very graphic werewolf novel. We have time to get to know the characters before everyone's life is ripped apart by a werewolf attack. Some people are killed, some survive, and some become werewolves. This becomes incredibly graphic at times but there was never a boring moment. I also approved of the ending. 4.5 stars

I read this once a while back after seeing the movie. I remember being disappointed because it was nothing like the film. It‘s been a while so I couldn‘t remember it too well. I really enjoyed this reread of it. I wouldn‘t mind checking out the author‘s other books.
