panFor the cover alone, I‘ve been saving this used bookstore find for reading on actual Halloween! Unfortunately, the cover is the best part of this very 90s horror novel. With gore, absolutely cringingly awful sex scenes & wooden characters who so nonchalantly accept the supernatural & never really discuss anything, this is a slog to get through. Never delivering any real chills or thrills, I guess I‘ll be using this as a decoration moving forward!

This was entertaining and a fun little read but I would leave it as just that. Definitely not the greatest book in the stack but not the worst either. I would recommend this to the casual horror reader but beware of a couple of pretty gory scenes.
