I decided that I should own more of the women‘s studies books that I am reading so I can *gasp* write in them.

But I‘m going to return “who‘s afraid of gender” because I think I can find it used and I‘ll feel better writing in a preloved copy.

Could you ever write in a book?

#selfguidedwomenandgenderstudiescourse

JackOBotts I definitely could (hey #LMPBC & @suvata ✍️), but I often find I‘m pulled in and just want to read on rather than pause to pick up the pen. I aspire to annotate! 🤣🤣🤣 5mo
TheBookgeekFrau I find it almost impossible to read without pen in hand 😂✍🏼 5mo

Until Litsy adds These Blue Mountains, I‘ll tag Sarah‘s 2024 release. I‘ve already preordered my copy…

One of the reasons I buy books by authors who are less known from Amazon is so that I can patronize the author and get my reviews published. While serving on Mesu Andrews‘s team, we experienced troubles with reviews being accepted because the reviewers weren‘t buying the books or leaving reviews for other items on Amazon. It‘s all a process.

Pickpick

my first review in several years ~ fellow Littens … These Tangled Threads is a yarn about 3 co-workers who experience struggles and make decisions that hurt each other. Ultimately, they each have to decide whether to trust and work together or hold on to fear and bitterness. ⬇️

Princess-Kingofkings I loved the details of setting up the loom and the vivid fabric descriptions. Being able to hear the story from 3 different viewpoints allowed me to see their hearts. The extra gift of learning about Biltmore Estate has left me dreaming of a future vacation destination.⬇️ 11mo
Princess-Kingofkings Because the timeframes went back and forth, even though each chapter heading was clear, I found it difficult to keep track. I might need to prepare a timeline to look at next time I read the book.⬇️ 11mo
Princess-Kingofkings Lovers of historical fiction and readers who adore Appalachia will find the scenery described and places visited engaging. For those who appreciate observing the characters make mistakes and slowly mature, you will be rewarded for allowing Arthur, Lorna, & Gentry to walk out their struggles. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 11mo
