I was today years old when I learned that #GoodHeartedWoman was inspired when Waylon Jennings read an ad in the paper about Tina & Ike Turner that mentioned many of Tina‘s songs were about “good-hearted women loving two-timing men.” Willie Nelson added just 2 lines but got full writing credit with Waylon & Tina recorded the song in 1988 for her her album “Goes Country.”

I read this memoir back in the 80‘s. I truly enjoyed it. I read this way before the movie came out. This is the memoir that truly reaches out with hands holding your face to pay attention easily. There are the good, the bad and the ugly but it‘s Tina‘s story and she is just…..simply the best….

I feel were this woman is coming from with a cheating lying husband, struggling with abuse in all forms, feeling stuck and worthless. She has the same mantra as me #NeverGiveUp

This book is a very heartfelt read and she don't hold back on the details.
From abuse and lawsuit's to wigs and fishnets Tina Turner truly is a spectacular woman.
