The book uses color as a way to convey feelings. The book is full of warm tones that convey happiness. The background is very minimal because the illustrator wanted the characters to be the focal point.

4 ⭐This book was fully unique. We have a queen and her feet do not live in shoes. Honestly, I don‘t blame her. Her feet may want to play in the mud, run in the sand, or wear completely inappropriate shoes but the queen still has a job to do. After gathering as many people in the land that know anything about feet as possible, they‘ve come up with a plan. What I really like about this book is the story is simple, but fun, but the illustrations.

I am a fan of the fashion celebrity Eva Chen. When she wrote this debut children‘s book, I had to have a signed copy! Ordered from the New York bookstore in her neighborhood where she would stop by and sign copies. #stripesoncover #bookbinge #fashion

Yet another awesome Pete the Cat book. In this one, Pete goes to school and stays brave because he‘s rocking in his school shoes. I really want to read all of these, my kid loves them.
