I thought it was pretty good. I liked both the characters we followed. The pacing was good and the cover for this is adorable too

What makes or breaks a book for you? Is it the grammar/typos? Badly written plot? Annoying characters?

So I am a romance reader now? Guess I'm old enough to get my share of Awwws now. The plot is nothing new, not at all. We all now what'll happen, when it'll happen and how it'll happen. But the characters are so lovable, that I didn't mind. For the first time. I just loved spending time with them. This book was the comfort read I was looking for and gave me exactly what I wanted and needed.

Library Haul! She Gets The Girl is my #BookSpin for November and I'm so happy about this - I wanted to read this book ever since I saw that cover 😍

I loved both main characters! They felt so realistic, I loved character development. I really rooted for both, and I especially loved how they had their problems and didn't have unrealistic flawless lives.
This was really cute book but had it's edges. I would have loved to laugh a bit but this still made me feel really good and it was exactly what I needed in my life at the moment.

A fellow gay friend recommend this to me. The story has been done a thousand times, but it was cute and gay and quite adorable.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️,5/5

I can't believe I didn't read this sooner!! I instantly got flashbacks to Toradora (for my weebs). The dynamic between the characters, the way they grow on each other, their hardships and how they helped each other get through it all, it was all beautiful! I was conflicted on the half-Korean aspect but I'm also not the right person to criticize it so I'll leave it at that here ⚠️ for alcoholism Super adorable 💕 #queer #lesbian #sapphic

Alex is trying to help Molly get the girl she‘s been crushing on but as they spend more time together and get to know each other, their plans get a little more complicated.
cute, loved it.
Alex will help Molly to get the attention of Cora and at the same time this will help Alex to gain the trust of her ex girlfriend. The story is predictable but it was cute. There are other topics like knowing and accept yourself, cultural identity, alcoholism and believe in yourself. You will love Alex and her relationship with Molly. I really enjoyed it. I didn‘t know the authors are married so lovely their acknowledgment notes🥰3⭐️That cover😍
OH MY GOD!! WHAT DID I JUST READ?!??
That was so freaking good. I think I have a new favourite. The characters were SO loveable and I felt all the emotions in this book. I connected with Alex more than I will ever admit and rooted for the relationship since sentence one. 5⭐️ Extra points for it being gay🌈✨
Thanks to a sudden rainstorm, I‘m “trapped” and must read my book longer.
Just ripped through this book (okay, I like stopped for work. And snacks.) Two college students make a deal for one to be the other's dating mentor, but like while they are hanging out and even going on a practice date, maybe, they are aiming for the wrong people?
Content note: parental addiction and parental internalized racism.
I forgot to post my book haul from yesterday, which was massive! 😲 These are the treasures I received from my hubby! So many exciting books I don't know where to start! 💕📚💕

Absolutely adored this college romance! The opposites attract lesbians are shy, awkward Molly who's loved a girl from afar for way too long and flirty, charismatic Alex, constantly underestimated and supporting herself and her alcoholic mom. When they make a deal to help each other get the girl of their dreams they unexpectedly find themselves falling for each other! Wonderful character and relationship journeys, funny, romantic, and very queer.
This is a humorous, LGBTQ+ YA rom-com that I found thoroughly entertaining. The two main characters were great with enough back story to make them feel real, The romance was pretty tame, so the book is suitable for even the youngest teens. This is not deep literature, but it did provide a wonderful escape on a cold afternoon. I gave it a solid 4/5 stars.
Alex is non-committal flirt who can't keep a girl. Molly is an introverted brainiac who harbors a crush on another girl she can't talk to. Together they will play wingman...er wingwoman for the objects of their affections before a mutual attraction builds between them in this LGBT rom-com YA.
