Thank you for the tag last week @CoffeeK8 ! And thank you for doing this @DebinHawaii ! I love reading everyone‘s joys each week 💛

kspenmoll I afore cranberry anything! Lovely list! 1mo
tpixie Starbucks has a new cranberry drink. I think the spices are a little heavy on cinnamon, but it was a fun change from a strawberry refresher. Frozen cranberries in plain Greek yogurt is really good. ❤️❤️❤️ 1mo
CoffeeK8 That lunch location looks so cozy for the fall! 1mo

Daisey I love cranberries this time of year as well. I canned some juice last week and am planning on a batch of cranberry eggnog bread soon. 1mo

DebinHawaii A lovely list of fall joys! 💛💛💛Cranberries are perfect this time of year! Thanks for joining in. 🤗 1mo
mabell @kspenmoll Same! Do you have any favorite recipes? 1mo
mabell @tpixie Oh I may have to try that! I rarely get the cold drinks (I‘m a big mocha fan!), but that one sounds fun for the season! And I never would have thought of frozen cranberries with yogurt! 1mo
mabell @CoffeeK8 It was! They also had tower heaters that were very welcome 😄 1mo
mabell @Daisey Wow - how did you can juice?? And please share your bread recipe! What a unique combo! I think cranberries would be perfect for balancing rich eggnog 1mo
Daisey This is one of my favorite winter quick breads! https://www.yourcupofcake.com/eggnog-cranberry-bread/ 1mo
Daisey I used the simpler method to can one batch of juice and it should be ready just in time for Christmas. https://practicalselfreliance.com/canning-cranberry-juice/ 1mo
tpixie @mabell your wee one with the puppy is adorable 🥰 1mo
tpixie @Daisey thanks for the recipe! I love both cranberries & eggnog! But I‘ve never had them together!!! 1mo
mabell @tpixie They are my sweethearts! She loves him so much, and he loves her when food is involved 😂 1mo
mabell @Daisey I‘ve printed the bread recipe! I just have to pick up a couple of ingredients & I‘m definitely making that this week! The simpler method sounds like a fun, tasty experiment! If I were more comfortable canning, I‘d do it. Once I‘ve done some canning, I‘ll try the drink too! I wonder how it would be with some spices added with the sugar. You‘ll have to report back on how this is too! (I don‘t remember if you mentioned you had made it before) 1mo
Daisey @tpixie @mabell I hope you both enjoy the bread! As for the juice, I‘ve read about people making fruit blends and spiced versions (although you need to be careful to keep acid content because of water bathing), but I‘ve only made plain cranberry myself. 1mo

This is a great seasonal book and can be used to teach children about rhyming and animal sounds.

I love the little blue truck series. Especially this Halloween one for the fall time. The characters are in funny costumes and this book has a cute Halloween twist compared to the original little blue truck. Great book to read for young children!

'Twas the Evening of Christmas by Glenys Nellist (2017). This is a beautifully worded rendition of the Nativity story, similar to 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. The rhythmic phrases flow easily, providing a comforting and calming read-aloud experience that is perfect for the holiday season. The rhythmic framework draws readers in, making for a pleasant and melodic read-aloud experience, particularly for younger audiences.

I would use this as a holiday-themed sample of poetry. The students can compare the story's structure and rhyming.
