pickThe first couple chapters were slowish, but then when Alexander came into the story, things picked up. Some definite Beauty and the Beast elements in this one, and they were nicely incorporated. Alexander was in constant pain, lonely, bored, and suffering serious ennui. Kitty brought him back to life and the two of them made a great team. Looking forward to continuing this series.

pickJordyn and Mike were a cute couple. This was a sweet novella that I read in one sitting. A nice tribute to romance novels, Culver City, romance, The Ripped Bodice bookstore, podcasts, and oh yeah, romance. The novella also celebrated diversity, and women in technology. Eden created an enjoyable book. I can see reading more of her work. I even liked the author‘s note at the end of the book.

Well, I learned what a demisexual is. Two people used to pleasing everyone else learn to please themselves. Older woman, younger man, neither one wants kids, both are introspective and doing the hard work of breaking old habits. Race and age weren‘t roadblocks. Nice contemporary romance. Covers deep stuff but doesn‘t get sappy or overdone. Though I do want to know more about the book Rae is working on....
