This really does take you on a journey to get to the truth but I enjoyed the ride. It jumps from past to present and from Laurel to Rosie but it also has the odd chapter by other characters. I like this style as it adds more depth to the story. THe plot is clever and filled with a few twists along the way. The ending was dark but very well written. You're never truly sure who to like or even trust in this #Netgalley 4*.

None of the characters are likable, the plot was rather predictable, but it was a quick read. I am interested in the sequels.

We Used to Live Here is dark, eerie, and full of suspense. The story kept me hooked and guessing right up until the end. I loved the creepy atmosphere and unsettling vibe. However, it left a few too many questions unanswered for my taste. I don‘t want to spoil anything, but I finished still wondering about a lot. If you enjoy open-ended psychological thrillers, this one might be a good listen.
