Wow, this book was great! I can‘t believe I‘ve never read this series before. I was so drawn into this world and Lyra‘s journey, I was finding stuff to do around the house so I could finish this!

I can‘t wait to read the rest of this series.

I calculated how many books I need to read to complete all my challenges. I didn‘t plan out the #ReadingUSA2019 correctly and I still have 23!

Plus all the books for #readingwomenchallenge, #booked2019, #readharderchallenge and #probooknerdschallenge

Total 40.

If I tried to finish all challenges, I‘d have to read 10 books a month only challenge books. Which would put a damper on the rest of my year! So now I decide which challenge to bail on.

TheSpineView I find it hard to complete challenges because they can be limiting. I almost feel boxed in by what someone else wants me to read. If I do a challenge, I use it as a guideline to inspire me instead of a dictator of what I should read. 5y
Scochrane26 I‘d bail on the one that has the most left. 5y

This book was really good. It‘s about a hacker who gets mixed up with jinn and basically has to run for his life. It was quite the journey. It was an easy read even though I know nothing about hacking or middle eastern culture. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved this book! The narrators are hilarious, the story is fabulous. This book sucks you in and you don‘t want to put it down. I am definitely going to add the rest of the books to my TBR.

I read this book in 7 hours, 2 mins, and 20 secs 😂

Listening to this isn't really making me *fonder* of Sagal, but- it's very nice to have a narrator so skilled at narrating. Good for my ADHD. #probooknerdschallenge #memoir #readbytheauthor #audiobooks

This book was so interesting. The drawings were beautiful and I loved hearing Wangari Maathai‘s story. What an incredible and brave woman. I would have never read this book without the BookRiot read Harder challenge and known her story.

Listened to this for Translated book published before 1945.

I‘ve never heard or read the original before. I didn‘t know Belle had siblings. I like how she asked her dad for the rose and that‘s what Emma Watson asked for in the remake. This was lovely, but I definitely missed the singing and Lemiere and Cogsworth.
