This is the second book in the Priest series. I loved book one, but this one was better. I was hooked from the beginning. I love how Zinny made Sean want to be a better person. His journey was incredible. The book is extra steamy, but it is wonderful prose and characters that make me want to give this one more than five stars. An incredible love story that I guarantee will pull at your heart strings. 5⭐️ #SeriesLove2024 @Andrew65

This was even steamier than the 1st, I don‘t know that it‘s a good thing, it bordered on “impossible for the human body” &the dirty talk (honest-girl/honest-guy thing?) was so cringe. Part of my dislike is likely that I find a lot of age-gap romances yucky, &while Sean Bell tried to give Zenny control -it‘s impossible under the circumstances.
That being said I liked Sean‘s character development, there were a few emotional scenes that humanized him

The first book in the series that wasn‘t for me; just “nopes” all around. Loose retelling of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. That didn‘t stop me from finishing though!

I picked this up with zero expectations. It‘s the last in the trilogy but the one I thought I‘d like the best. IT WAS SO GOOD!! I cried, I laughed, I grinned ear to ear. I was committed to the struggle of Aiden to find a balance between his need for religion and his love for Elijah. The spice? 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. I‘m going to need to get the first two in the series now.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didn‘t know that The Hunchback of Notre Dame was ever a fairytale. I read the book a few years ago and it definitely isn‘t a fairytale either. Father Cade Frederíc battles with his commitment to God and the church and his desire for “Esmerelda”. Quite an interesting story. #SeriesLove2024 @TheSpineView @Andrew65

When Father Cade lays eyes on Amaya, he finds himself ensnared, convinced she's using witchcraft to lure him to her. He can't eat. Can't breathe. Can't think unless it's of her.

And temptation is a devastating mistress.

She's his weakness, so he decides he'll be her demise…even if it means killing the only woman he might ever love.

Forgive me Father, for I have sinned 😭🥵

I never thought that I'd have the hots for Frollo 😳 A dark romance twist on The Hunchback of Notre Dame, you say? Take my money!

An addictive page turner with a morally grey main character, a badass female lead, spice, shock factor, and Neurodiverse representation. Ticks every single box for me! I did find this book wasn't as smutty as EM'S others, but it was MUCH, MUCH darker. Her best so far. Check TW

Another smutty showing from McIntire. I never wanted to bang Judge Frollo, as he was a pretty insidious Disney villain, but this book made me more open to letting this creepy, pious, sinner-in-saint‘s-clothing weirdo hit it. It‘s not as steamy as her prior novels (it‘s no Hooked…), much less Hustler Magazine themes for this story, but overall it was still a good time.
