“But not just any Cat! With a brain enhanced by microchips and a suit upgraded with cybernetic biotechnology, the fantastic feline is a hero the likes of which the universe has never seen!“
This book is so much fun! It has comedy and adventure that really pulls the reader in. The story is so funny and ridiculous that you can't help but fall into the story head first.
This book is a silly story about scientists who discover the moon is being eaten by evil mice. In order to stop this, they send in a cat, a moon queen, and, by accident, a robot. The scientists have 3 days to take down the evil mice and save the moon!
For the record, the bread in this photo was not made using a recipe from this book, but I couldn‘t resist the serendipity!
I‘m glad I finally got around to reading this, since it‘s such a seminal and oft-cited book in the world of artisan baking, but I‘m not enthusiastic about it. I feel like the online recipes I started with and my own experience have gotten me past the Forkish method and into better (less wasteful!) ones.
Picked up some cookbooks to help me put our remodeled kitchen to good use. Looking forward to trying some new recipes. If I get real lucky, maybe I‘ll find some new family favorites!
The first cat in space just wants some pizza but his attempts are thwarted at every turn as he also tries to save the moon from the cheese-eating rats! A fun GN romp! #temptingtitles #withcat

My youngest baby, who‘ll be nine tomorrow - I know he looks more like twelve, he‘s super tall! - reading at my oldest baby‘s orthodontist appointment. WHY ARE THEY SO BIG?! 😭

This is a nonfiction account of a married couple that opened a pizza place together in Seattle. The book is an exhausting, but realistic depiction of the challenges they faced. I understand the frustrations that come out of such an endeavor, but it was like reading Debbie Downer's account of being married to a chef. It wasn't one that was enjoyable or even made me want to try the food. A few random recipes are included as well.
